Russell began tutoring me last year when I began a course that included maths at level three (A-level). I had never been particularly confident at maths but Russell put me at ease.
Russell is not only a great mathematician but also a great teacher. If I was struggling with a particular topic he found a new way to present it to me that made sure I understood it. In fact, after learning a topic with Russell I was even able to explain it to my classmates who were having difficulties!

Russell has been tutoring my son (year 7) on an ongoing basis for one year. He tutors in maths and science with the purpose of identifying difficulties/bottlenecks and also to consolidate what has been learnt. Russell also works through past exam papers with Laurence which has been hugely helpful in terms of identifying common slip ups which occur in the exam situation. My son is a very lively and physical boy and Russell is absolutely the right tutor for him, being able to adapt to his learning style and get the most out of him. My son has achieved very pleasing marks in maths and science at school and remains on track to perform competitively in public exams.
