About Katurah
I am an actress and teacher who graduated from RCSSD in 2019 with a previous arts degree from the University of Cambridge. I have a wide knowledge of monologues that apply to the various criteria of different auditions at different schools.

In preparing a student for an audition I have three main focal points:
1) Getting the material right - a candidate who is invested in their material stands a far higher chance of engaging with it in the room and shaking off nerves while performing.
2) Working the piece into a playful, not rigid, place - Working audition material into one set routine shows in auditions, instead, I like to work with exercises to create options in the piece which means you will be flexible in the room according to your mood and the re-direction from the panel.
3) Establishing a sense of ease and relaxation - Auditions are highly stressful and so prepping the material with ease allows for the day itself to run with less anxiety.
