Hi I'm Rosie, I offer tuition to students who would like to learn to play the piano. I tailor my teaching to the student to ensure understanding, and aim to improve confidence in reading and playing music.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I provide piano tuition for beginners. I also provide tuition in science.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
Grade 7 Piano qualification. I began playing piano under private tuition at a young age and progressed through the grades by the age of 16 years old. I enjoy teaching beginners this fantastic lifetime skill.
I am also a postgraduate Clinical Scientist with a Masters Degree in Clinical Science and a Bachelor of Science Biological Sciences Honours degree.
- How much do you charge?
10% discount on second hour. Travel fees may apply depending on distance. Maximum 1 person for piano. I suggest 1 hour sessions but this variable depending on student preference.
- Where do you teach?
I teach at the student's home or at a local facility with a piano.
- When are you available?
I am available weekday evenings from 5.30pm-8.30pm and weekends between 9am - 8pm.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
Piano tuition is aimed at beginners of all ages. Please enquire regarding level of ability.
- Do you have a personal message for students?
I'm a very approachable and friendly person who will ensure all efforts are made to tailor teaching to suit each student. My aim is to help and support you through your learning and help to achieve understanding of reading and playing piano music at a beginners level. Please do not hesitate to ask or enquire.
