About John
Being a Graduate of both The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Northern College of Music, I have worked with many of the UK's finest orchestras, some including; The Halle, Opera North, The Liverpool Philharmonic, The London Mozart Players, British Sinfonietta and the London Philharmonic. With over 15 years teaching experience, I also have a wealth of performing experience across the country in orchestras and smaller ensembles.

Lessons available for all, beginners to more advanced pupils of any age. As a professional freelance Musician, Teaching for me is not only about technique and set-up but all that music entails. Taking a deeper look into the history, development of instruments and music styles all come together to bring the music to life and build a strong contextual and broad knowledge of music, not only the instrument.
