I was Emmeline’s A level Physics teacher. Her mathematical ability is exceptional. All of her answers were impeccable. She would often score 100% on tests. Despite having 3 decades of teaching experience, she would often demonstrate a better, deeper and more insightful understanding of a topic than me, and her mathematical solutions were often better and more elegant than mine. Any student would be very lucky to be tutored by her. Her ability to explain mathematical concepts is exceptionally good. I saw this in practice regularly, since I would often give her 5 minute slots in lessons to teach a tricky part of a topic. The class particularly enjoyed these episodes, which demonstrated how well she can communicate ideas and hold the interest of students. She is funny, highly intelligent, with first class teaching skills. I can wholeheartedly recommend her as a tutor.

Emmeline is an incredibly conscientious tutor. She puts a lot of thought into her preparation for lessons, and is therefore able to adapt well to students with different learning styles. Her reasoning and explanations are always incredibly clear, and she considers how to understand difficult concepts from a student’s perspective.
