About Kyla
I grew up understanding French but not speaking well because my paternal side of the family is Creole. Once I started learning French in middle school, I learned how different the academic lessons in French are from native speakers. I now have a comprehensive understanding of the things you must know to pass the exam as well as the more informal way of speaking once you travel to a Francophone. I am more than happy to educate on both!

English
French is a language significantly different from English, and one of the hardest Latin languages to get the hang of. I took AP French my junior year of high school and passed the Exam with a 5. I also took the B2 DELF exam and scored an 87%, granting me official qualifications to study abroad if I do choose. I will work with students on grammar, pronunciation, and usage patterns to increase understanding of the language and to understand vital information to pass the academic class and AP.
