About Caramea
Hello! I am a Grade 12 IB Diploma student and a Principal's Honor Roll student with a passion for learning, leadership, and helping others succeed. I especially enjoy mathematics and love finding ways to make challenging concepts feel more approachable and manageable.
As an IB student who has completed DP1, I understand how demanding the IB curriculum can be, and I can share strategies that have helped me stay organized and confident while balancing academics with extracurriculars. I also have experience through volunteer tutoring, where I've enjoyed helping students strengthen not only their understanding of the material, but also their study habits, confidence, and independence.
I believe that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my approach to each student's needs and learning style. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and speaking up when something doesn't make sense. There is never a "stupid" question, and I am happy to work through a concept as many times and in as many ways as needed.
I'll always maintain a patient, supportive, and professional environment while helping students build both their mathematical skills and confidence.

I offer online Math tutoring for students from elementary school through Grade 12, including support with IB Mathematics.
Lessons can be tailored to whatever the student needs most, whether that's reviewing foundational concepts, working through homework, preparing for a test, improving problem-solving skills, or getting extra support with more challenging topics.
As an IB student, I can also share strategies and advice for navigating IB Math, including studying effectively and preparing for assessments.
My goal is not simply to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand the reasoning behind it so they can approach similar problems independently in the future.
Lessons are held online through Google Meet or Zoom.
