About Natalie

I am a rising Junior at Harvard College studying Applied Mathematics with Specialization in Economics! Born and raised in New York City, I attended the Dalton School from K-12. I have experience tutoring in a wide variety of areas and feel confident that regardless the subject matter, I could bring any student to a place of comfortability and confidence! When I am not focusing on academic or extracurricular endeavors, I love to spend time with friends and family, go on walks, bake, and do crossword puzzles :)

About the lesson

I love tutoring because I am truly passionate about helping students learn and reach their full potential. Throughout high school, I volunteered with Children's Aid, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and families of high need. During my time there, I spent two afternoons per week assisting elementary school students with their homework and developing lesson plans that catered to the NYC Department of Education’s guidelines as well as the individual student’s interests and abilities.

Through this work, I gained a newfound appreciation for the incredible power of education. Helping students develop their academic skills not only opens up new worlds for them but also gives them the needed confidence to pursue their unique goals. I believe that every student deserves access to high-quality education and support, which is why I want to continue tutoring and supporting students through this platform.

I am very excited about the prospect of working with driven and ambitious students and believe that as a college student, I can connect with them in a way that makes learning both enriching and exciting!
