About Naomi
I am a rising high school junior that will be taking AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics next year. This past year, I took and received an A in AP Calculus AB, and the previous year I received an A in precalculus. In middle school, I took Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry. I have tutoring experience, such as for classmates, and extensive experience teaching kids of all ages. I have been a summer reading volunteer at my local library for four summers, and have taught swim lessons for two. I love teaching and seeing my students learn and grow, as well as working with kids.

I have quite a bit of math experience (both learning and teaching), but am not naturally gifted at it, and thus have had to find unique strategies that work for me. I know how hard it can be to struggle with math and feel bad at it, and I work with every student individually to find strategies that increase not only their skills but their confidence as well. My goal is to help my students find the techniques that work for them that they can use for the rest of their lives, when learning math and beyond. I strive to make my lessons fun, engaging, and effective, and want to see every student gain the tools they need to succeed.
