About Sravani

I am a college freshman with 6+ years of experience working as a professional tutor. I love working with students of all ages as I enjoy spreading knowledge to gifted minds. As a tutor who has worked with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, and Autism, I have learned to develop unique teaching methods that can be adapted to any student.

I seek to connect with the students to work with in order to serve as not just a tutor, but also as a mentor. I welcome parent feedback and hope to set goals with both the student and the parents.

In terms of education and experience, I was at the top of my class at Westfield High School. I have taken 10 APs and 7 college classes at NOVA. I hold multiple leadership positions in my community and even run 2 companies. Currently, I have been accepted into multiple schools with merit scholarships. I am attending the George Washington University with the President's Scholarship studying Business, Finance, and Public Policy on the pre-law track.

I seek to be a positive influence in every one of my student's life and I hope to create a profound impact in academics and personal life.

About the lesson

I believe in adapting my teaching method and techniques to suit the individual needs and learning styles of my students.

My teaching method involves a combination of explanations, examples, and interactive activities. I break down complex concepts into smaller, more understandable parts and provide real-world examples to help students grasp the material better. I encourage students to ask questions and engage in discussions to deepen their understanding. Additionally, I often incorporate visual aids, multimedia resources, and practical exercises to enhance the learning experience.

A typical lesson plan with me would start with a brief review of the previous session's material to ensure understanding and build connections. Then, I would introduce the new topic, providing clear explanations and relevant examples. Throughout the lesson, I would encourage active participation from the student through discussions, problem-solving exercises, or interactive activities. Towards the end, I would summarize the key points covered and address any remaining questions or concerns.
