About Nate
I wasn't always the student who loved school. I'd much rather be playing soccer, working out, or hanging out with my friends. As I got older, though, I figured out study habits and learning strategies that made school a lot easier and less stressful. Those habits helped me rise from a 2.5 GPA my freshman year to become a 9-time Honor Roll student with a 4.2 GPA in my final quarter of junior year.
Because I've been through that process myself, I understand what it's like to struggle with motivation or feel overwhelmed. My goal is to help students learn in a way that actually makes sense to them, build confidence, and succeed without feeling like they have to spend all their free time studying.

I know math isn't everyone's favorite subject, but I believe it can be a lot easier when it's taught the right way. My goal is to make math feel simple and approachable by helping students understand the bigger picture before getting into the details. Once you understand why something works, solving problems becomes much less stressful.
My lessons are personalized to each student. Throughout my academic career, I have had good teachers and bad. Through this, I've learned that each student is different and needs a slightly different approach. I start by figuring out what concepts need the most attention, then break them down into clear, manageable steps. I focus on building confidence, improving problem-solving skills, and helping students learn as efficiently as possible.
As a rising senior with a 3.9 GPA and a 9-time member of the Honor Roll, I understand what it takes to succeed academically. I'm also a 4-year varsity soccer player and co-captain, which has taught me discipline, leadership, and the importance of balancing school, athletics, and a social life. Because I'm still a student myself, I know exactly what teachers look for and what areas students should focus on to improve quickly.
My lessons are great for middle and high school students who want to improve their grades, prepare for tests, or simply feel more confident in math.
