About Richard
I have been tutoring private lessons for several years. I was a special education teacher for 28 years teaching all regular subjects. I have taught classes of several students but prefer working one on one. The greatest reward is to witness student graduation or receiving student positive test results.

I use a multi-sensory approach for all learning activities. I base student progress on student ability making sure that a student has grasped the information. I always connect previous information to the current lesson to assure mastery. I try to get to connect to students with something in my background.
