About Robert
As an engineer, I have always aspired to a high level of integrity and professionalism in my work both as an engineering professional and as a college instructor. As a result, I was asked to teach college level courses at two universities based, not on my academic credentials (since for the first few years I was teaching while earning my Master's degree), but rather on my reputation as one who was knowledgeable, one who would work hard, and one on whom my supervisors could depend.

As an instructor my role has always been to help students be successful in their academic studies by clearly explaining technical information, and doing such instruction with a level of confidence, passion and enthusiasm while reminding students that an education is also intended to train them to think and develop habits that can serve them well in the future. Each student is unique and individually gifted, and as an instructor, my greatest joy is serving students by encouraging them to learn and master new material. My teaching approach and lesson plan will be designed to meet the unique needs of each student. My specific focus is for students in the middle school and high school level. I have always loved math, and as I tell my grandchildren, "Math is our friend; math will be with us to the end!"
