Performance and teaching experience. 12 years experience as High School Band/Choir Director. 30 years experience as a church musician/choir director. 14 years teaching instrumental music to middle and elementary school. Additional 5 years private lessons outside the classroom.

Willing to teach/tutor students ages 6-99, beginner to intermediate level. Genres include classical, traditional and contemporary gospel, contemporary Christian, pop, rock, rhythm and blues, hip hop and funk. As a result of 20 years in the classroom, student learning style coupled with the desired student outcome determine materials. Hands-on/music activities are included. Also willing to teach beginning and intermediate wind instruments. Preparation for college auditions also available.
