About Bert
I am a retired Maths Teacher with experience in especially remedial maths. I also have extensive experience in the IT industry with data analysis. I have assisted various pupils struggling with maths. Students have shown improvement from 23% to 68% in as little as 6 months with 2 hours a week. I can teach in Afrikaans and English

My teaching methodology is to find the root cause of a student's problem and then take them back to that point and rebuild from there. I believe that students do not take enough time to do repetitive exercises so that basic principles can become part of their thinking. Practice makes perfect.
