About Kim
I am a retired math teacher who has seen all levels of struggle in students. I like to help you struggle and get you to that 'ah ha' moment where you understand and can then continue to feel confident and succeed in your math class! I am able to approach the problems from different ways and explain things so that you understand. I have taught for 17 years and tutored for 6. 8 in public school, 9 in a private school. My specialties are Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry. I love proofs and love teaching them so students understand. I hold a Texas Teaching certificate and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin.

We can work through your problem sets (homework) or correct your tests and quizzes or I can quiz you, or teach you in a way so you will understand. Anything to bring up your confidence and understanding of the material. That is my goal to make you feel confident in math. Past students/tutees have said they always feel more confident and prepared after meeting with me.
