About Kaylee
I was educated on literature from a very young age, because my mother and grandmother were also English teachers! I am so passionate about education, and while I start my small business, I would love to continue sharing my knowledge with young minds.

I have experience in teaching writing, reading, rhetoric, literature and language acquisition through a culturally and historically responsive manner, being sure that all learning remains passion fueled, and relevant to the every day lives of students. I believe in teaching in differentiated manners depending the learner, and integrate an active push for critical thinking and creating, rather than regurgitating.
I have taught ages 13-18 professionally as a former high school English teacher and tutor.
