About David
I have been teaching mathematics since the beginning of the current year. I enjoy interacting with students and seeing them achieve their goals. While a faculty member I taught statistics and research design. When I was a high school student, I scored 770 on the quantitative SAT. Recently I scored 31 on the ACT math section.

I like to have the students actively involved in working out answers to questions and problems. I think that works much better than having me talk "at" them. I believe in learning by doing. As part of that, I try to create real life problems to which students can relate while doing their mathematics. For example, a way to do division is to ask how many pizzas with 8 slices each are needed to provide 2 slices each for 12 people.
