About Kimball
I taught Physics for 30 years at small colleges and as needed I have taught various college Math courses. After retiring from full-time employment I have tutored online in the areas of High School Math courses and Physics. I particularly enjoy subjects like Trigonometry, Algebra and Pre-Calculus.

I teach by explanation and example. I expect the students to provide me with a good example of the problems they would like help with. After explaining the skills required to solve such problems, I will demonstrate how to solve specific example problems. Then I will review with the student: explaining why the particular approach was taken and what alternative approach might be taken as well. Then I generally ask the student to solve a similar problem, asking for help as needed. Mostly I tutor High School Mathematics, however I have tutored for freshman (College level) Physics.
