I am a retired Barrister and Crown Prosecutor. I very much enjoy seeing the "light bulb" go on when a concept clicks with a student. I firmly believe that understanding the practical application of legal concepts is vital, not just an intellectual dissertation of principles.

Having addressed juries for 30 years I have enormous experience in delivering potentially complex issues in a highly understandable manner. I know what skills are required in the real world. My approach is highly pragmatic. I believe a deeper understanding of current law is achieved grasping the rationale behind it and how it developed.
