About Maximilian

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the field of cosmology. I offer tutoring for maths and the natural sciences up to A-levels (including Physics, Chemistry and Astronomy). The natural sciences are my great passion. This is why I want to help other people master them and it is the reason why I am a scientist. Therefore, when I teach science or mathematics, I always want to help students understand the underlying principles, while also fostering their own long-term study habits, so that I may become superfluous as a tutor. I have acquired over 1,000 hours of collective tutoring experience in all of these subjects over the course of my undergraduate degree in Physics at Imperial College London and during my PhD in cosmology at University College London. This includes tutoring and teaching of maths, all sciences, English, Spanish and German at all levels (primary, GCSE, A-levels and beyond). In addition, I have given tutorials at undergraduate level at University College London as a part of some mathematics and physics courses within the physics degree. About the lesson

Generally, the approach I take when tutoring Maths and Sciences is to organise and make clear what ought to be studied given the student's interests and goals. Then, I explain the topics as clearly as possible without having any issues with repeating it as many times as necessary. Also, I put great focus on practice. I have amassed over a decade in tutoring experience at all levels of Maths, Physics and Chemistry up to A-levels.

I am also qualified to teach some undergraduate-level topics in Physics and Maths, and I have given tutorials at undergraduate level at University College London as a part of some Mathematics and Physics courses within the physics degree. Undergraduate level lesson are available on request at a higher rate.
