About Progress
My academic journey began with a First Class BSc in Physiology from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, where I conducted research on neuro-behavioral effects of stress and heavy metal exposure in animal models. I further advanced my expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Human Physiology (Distinction) from Afe Babalola University, where my thesis explored the anti-inflammatory effects of oleic and alpha-linoleic acids on endotoxin-induced hypotension in male Wistar rats.
Since completing my MSc, I’ve expanded into in silico modeling and computational biology, currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular Biology and Genomics. I teach because I believe science becomes truly powerful when it is shared. Throughout my studies, I’ve seen how the right support can help students grasp difficult topics—like gene regulation, bioinformatics, or cellular dynamics—and turn uncertainty into mastery. My goal as a tutor is to break down complex ideas into approachable steps, using real examples, visual tools, and research-driven insights to make learning both meaningful and enjoyable. Whether you’re preparing for exams, conducting research, or simply trying to strengthen your understanding of biology or bioinformatics, I bring not just knowledge, but encouragement, patience, and clarity to help you succeed. Teaching isn’t just something I do—it’s a way to pass on the passion I have for life sciences and to inspire others to see the beauty and logic in biology.

I bring a unique combination of advanced laboratory skills, in vivo animal model experience, and computational expertise in biological network modeling and deep learning algorithms. My solid programming background (Python, R, and bioinformatics pipelines) allows me to teach not just theory, but hands-on data mining, analysis, and visualization relevant to real biological problems.
