About Shivam
I am a graduate software engineer from the University of Melbourne(graduated with honours) and I am working as a Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne in the Software field. I have been tutoring since 2019, I have mostly tutored Computing and Software at the university and school level. I have worked at CodeCamp(2years), Ezy Math Tutoring(2 years), The University of Melbourne(1 year), Tutor Storm(3 months).

My teaching methodology is based on teaching the basics and then building on top of those. When I am teaching advanced concepts my focus is to break them into smaller chunks that are as close to the foundation concepts. For example, if I have to teach someone how to find the volume of a shape. I would, first of all, explain what volume means - the amount of stuff that can fit into that shape in the real world. I would start with a cuboidal box and explain how intuitive it is to find its volume once you visualise it and break it into small chunks.
