About Marawan

I’m a dedicated and approachable tutor with several years of experience helping GCSE and A-Level students succeed in Maths, and Further Maths. My passion lies in breaking down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps and helping students build both confidence and independence in their learning. Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all abilities — from those aiming for top grades to those needing extra support to grasp the foundations. I pride myself on creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and steadily improving. All my lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and exam board, with a strong focus on clarity, understanding, and exam success. I stay up to date with curriculum changes and use proven strategies to boost performance in both classroom learning and high-stakes exams. Punctual, reliable, and highly professional, I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

About the lesson

As an experienced online tutor, I take a student-centred, exam-focused approach that builds both confidence and mastery in A-Level and GCSE Maths and Further Maths. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs and goals of the student, whether that's improving conceptual understanding, sharpening problem-solving techniques, or excelling in exams. I break complex topics down into simple, logical steps and use real exam questions, interactive discussions, and targeted feedback to help students learn actively rather than passively. My sessions are designed to foster both academic excellence and independent thinking. Lesson Format: -Typical lessons are 60–90 minutes long, depending on the student's needs. -Sessions are delivered online via Teams, Zoom or Google Meet using shared whiteboards and screen-sharing tools for clarity. -I often set short follow-up tasks or exam-style questions to reinforce learning between sessions. Experience and Background: I have several years of tutoring experience, supporting students across a range of abilities — from those aiming for top grades to those needing help to pass. I’ve helped students from various exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR. My tutoring experience also includes one-on-one support, group sessions, and targeted revision planning for upcoming exams. Who My Lessons Are For: -GCSE and A-Level students (Years 10–13) -Particularly those studying Maths and Further Maths. My aim is not just to help students do well in exams — it's to make sure they truly understand the material, feel confident applying it, and enjoy the process of learning.
