My name is Christopher Gardener, above all things I value punctuality, respect and efficient planning. I will go above and beyond to ensure that you receive whatever help I can give you. I am comfortable with online or face-to-face mentoring. I am keen to methodically appraise any given student's pre-existing knowledge/experience with a topic, before using that as a foundation with which to cultivate a nuanced, multi-faceted and critical understanding in a manner that is both flexible and holistic.
With regards to lesson length, I am flexible and willing to cater to the student's needs. However, I would say the most useful amount of time, given my methodology, would be between an hour and two and a half hours.
While I do not have formal teaching experience, for the last fifteen years I have occupied a number of roles that have necessitated and cultivated a high level of communication, performance and interpersonal skills; ranging from over a decade of acting experience as well as a BA Honours in Acting from Falmouth University, I have coached young people in drama and youth groups, I have basic first aid training and as a university society spokesperson I regularly gave lectures, presentations and organised a wide range of activities.
