About Saima
Hi, my name is Saima Kausser and I am currently completing a Masters in Educational Pedagogy with Newman’s college (University). Previously, I have completed a master’s in education (Med) and a degree in psychology.
I have paved a successful professional teaching career with improved standards of learning and achievement of all pupils emphasising a broad range of teaching approaches and techniques. I am a dedicated, committed and enthusiastic practitioner of education; especially, about pupil learning. I have over 7 to 8 years of classroom experience in various educational settings.
I have previously taught religious studies and tutored students as well as citizenship, history and psychology at GCSE levels and Psychology at A level and Sociology. Further, I have also tutored primary school pupils in Literacy and numeracy in key stage 2 along with SAT’s.
I always have high expectations of all pupils, thus demonstrated and promoted positive values and behavior. I have very holistic in my teaching approach where are use various techniques and resources to tutor and teach; adapting it to the needs of the child. Furthermore, high level of lesson plan production and deliverance in conjunction with a range of strategies for the managing of difficult behaviour ensured full participation from both me and the students. In addition, maintaining confidentiality of the organisations, the colleagues, the schools and the pupils as well as extensive teacher-colleague responsibilities.
My subject expertise is Religious studies and Psychology. Further I have experience of teaching in history, sociology, humanities, geography, English as well as Urdu, basic Arabic, numeracy and literacy.
