About Deborah
When I attended counselling for the first time in 1997, 7 years after I got divorced, my life changed forever! I learnt why people do what they do and that the biggest reason for relationships breaking down is due to a lack of understanding and communication. Counselling helped me so much that I wanted to help others, so I changed my career completely and became a Counsellor. 5 Years after that I became a Relationship Coach and an Emotional Intelligence and Personal Development Trainer.
Since then I have worked with people from all backgrounds from ages 4 and upwards who wanted to understand themselves and the people in their lives to improve their communication and relationships.
I work with individuals, couples, families, companies and teams e.g. executives, parents, teachers, tutors, entrepreneurs; and individual children and groups of children from aged 4 upwards.
Having great relationships at home and at work leads to a happy fulfilling life :-)
I'm also an award-winning Author, Master Certifying Trainer of Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and a Speaker. Books I've written include The Relationship Magnet, Emotional Intelligence in a Nutshell for Parents and Teachers and the Bears of Blueberry Forest EQ series for kids.
