Catherine was one of my teachers throughout my EEN diploma. Catherine walked into a messy, lost room of students and managed to streamline our learning, filling in the missing pieces and establishing a manageable timeline for our learning goals. She was able to bring out the best in people, her ability to see a strength and build someone's confidence makes me smile still. Catherine also taught with flexibility, working around personal situations with empathy and compassionating. She is extremely knowledgeable and engaging; and whilst aiming and establishing learning around our learning criteria she always emphasised patient-centred care,
kindness, consent and dignity. She was the highlight of my learning journey because she was inclusive, concise and creative; she established respect, not fear and lead from a place of trust. I honestly cannot praise or thank Catherine enough and will be forever grateful for her part in my learning journey.

Cat is one of the most patient and professional teachers I’ve ever had the privilege of being taught by. Her way of communicating with her students and friendly approach towards them is one that makes her the bust in the business. She takes the time to listen to her students and guides them in ways that help them learn. She understands that not everyone learns at the same pace, and she finds ways to help you understand. Catherine taught me how to be come an efficient nurse, she gave me confidence and always supported me when I needed it. Catherine is a fun, professional and very respectful person. I cannot thank her enough for her hard work, her time and her effort in teaching and carrying us into the next steps of our career. With help from the experience and knowledge I gained from having Catherine as a teacher I now work full time as a surgical nurse.
