About Oluwatise
I’m a dedicated nursing tutor who understands firsthand how challenging nursing school and NCLEX preparation can be. After completing my nursing education and successfully passing the NCLEX-RN, I developed a strong appreciation for learning through understanding rather than memorization.
My goal is to help nursing students build confidence, strengthen their clinical reasoning, and truly understand the concepts they are learning. I create a supportive, patient, and judgment-free learning environment where students can ask questions, make mistakes, and work through challenging topics at their own pace.
I use practical examples, NCLEX-style questions, clinical scenarios, and step-by-step explanations to make difficult nursing concepts easier to understand and apply. I can support students with nursing coursework, dosage calculation, fundamentals, elderly care, clinical judgment, and NCLEX-RN preparation.
Every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand your specific challenges and adapt each lesson to your needs. Whether you are struggling with a difficult nursing topic, preparing for an exam, or working toward NCLEX success, I’m here to help you become a more confident and capable nursing student.

My goal is to make nursing concepts easier to understand, remember, and apply, not just memorize them. I use a patient-centered and NCLEX-focused approach that combines clear explanations, real-life clinical examples, practice questions, and active discussion.
I break complex nursing concepts into simple, manageable steps and connect classroom knowledge to realistic patient situations. I use:
NCLEX-style and Next Generation NCLEX (NGN) questions
Step-by-step rationales to explain why an answer is correct or incorrect
Case studies and clinical scenarios
Visual explanations, mnemonics, and memory techniques
Active recall and practice-based learning
Prioritization, delegation, and other clinical judgment exercises
Review of areas where the student is struggling
I encourage students to ask questions freely and work through problems rather than simply giving them the answers.
A typical lesson begins with a brief assessment of the student's current understanding and goals. We then review the key concepts for the topic, identify areas of difficulty, and apply the information through practice questions and clinical scenarios. For example, a lesson on cardiac nursing may include reviewing the relevant anatomy and physiology, recognizing important assessment findings, discussing nursing interventions, and completing NCLEX-style questions that require prioritization and clinical judgment.
We finish by reviewing mistakes, clarifying difficult concepts, and identifying what the student should practice before the next lesson.
I recently completed nursing school and successfully passed the NCLEX at 85 questions in one sitting, so I understand the challenges students face from the learner's perspective. My approach is practical, patient, and focused on helping students develop the reasoning skills needed to succeed—not just memorize information.
Who My Lessons Are For:
Nursing students in ADN and BSN programs,
Pre-nursing students who need help understanding, foundational concepts,
LPN/LVN and RN students preparing for nursing exams
Students struggling with fundamentals, dosage calculation, medical-surgical nursing, patient care, or clinical judgment
Nursing students preparing for the NCLEX-RN
Students preparing for NGN-style questions
Students who need additional support with elderly and long-term care concepts.
Whether you are struggling with a specific nursing class, preparing for an upcoming exam, or getting ready for the NCLEX, lessons are tailored to your individual learning needs and current level.

Oluwatise is my older sister, and I have always known her to be patient, dependable, and genuinely willing to help others learn. She takes the time to explain things clearly and makes sure people understand instead of simply giving them the answer. She is encouraging, easy to communicate with, and takes what she does seriously. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive tutor.
I have known Nurse Oluwatise for 2 years. She’s very kind and attentive to her patients. I recommend her to all my family members too, she’s that super!
