About Elizabeth

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I am a registered nurse with hands-on experience in patient care, behavioral health, medication administration, documentation, and clinical decision-making. I understand how overwhelming nursing school can feel when students are expected to learn large amounts of information while also preparing for examinations and clinical practice.

I became a tutor because I enjoy helping others turn confusing material into knowledge they can understand and apply. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed or judged.

My goal is not simply to help students memorize information for a test. I want them to strengthen their clinical reasoning, build confidence, and develop skills they can carry into nursing school and professional practice. Every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to the student’s needs, goals, and preferred learning style.

About the lesson

My name is Elizabeth, and I am a registered nurse who helps students understand nursing concepts by connecting textbook knowledge to practical, real-world situations. My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I break complicated material into manageable steps, use realistic examples, and encourage questions without judgment.

A typical lesson begins by identifying the topics the student finds most challenging. We then review the underlying concepts, work through examples together, and practice applying the information through questions, scenarios, or medication calculations. At the end of each lesson, we review the main takeaways and identify what the student should practice next.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain nursing information in clear, everyday language while helping students develop clinical reasoning—not simply memorize facts. My goal is to help each student understand why an answer is correct and feel more confident applying that knowledge in class, clinical settings, and examinations.

Lessons are appropriate for pre-nursing students, LPN/LVN students, ADN and BSN nursing students, new graduate nurses, and healthcare students who need additional support. Topics may include nursing fundamentals, medication calculations, documentation, patient assessment, behavioral health nursing, test preparation, and clinical reasoning.
