About Federico

I'm Federico (Fede), a registered secondary maths and science teacher in Victoria and New South Wales, with a Master of Teaching and a Master of Atmospheric Sciences (heavy on calculus and statistics).

I've tutored since 2010 and taught more than 500 students, and I've taught in Victorian and Northern Territory schools, so I know the Australian curriculum and its exams from the inside.

I'm patient and structured, and I love taking students who feel lost in maths and making it click.

About the lesson

Every lesson follows the course your child is actually assessed on: VCE, HSC, SACE, QCE, IB or Cambridge.

How it works:
• First lesson: we find exactly where marks are being lost
• A clear plan for the term, with past exam questions and SAC/test preparation
• Live lessons on Google Meet with a shared whiteboard, so I see every step of the working
• A practice sheet after each lesson, matched to what's on at school
• A one-page progress report for parents every month: results by topic and next steps

I teach students to understand, not memorise. That's what holds up under exam pressure.

Levels: Years 9–12, VCE Mathematical Methods and Specialist, HSC Advanced and Extension 1, IB Maths AA/AI, Cambridge IGCSE and A Level, and first-year university calculus.
Lessons in English or Spanish.
