I help students and professionals understand sustainability in a practical, real-world way. With over seven years of experience in corporate sustainability, ESG strategy, and environmental management, I bring insights from global consulting projects and real organisational challenges directly into my teaching. About the lesson

My approach to tutoring and how I teach I teach sustainability as a practical, decision-driven discipline, not abstract theory. My approach blends strong conceptual foundations with real-world application, so students understand not just what sustainability frameworks say, but how they are actually used in organisations, consulting projects, and policy environments. Classes are structured, outcome-focused, and adapted to the learner’s goals. I start by assessing the student’s baseline knowledge and objective, whether that is academic success, career transition, professional certification, or real-world project delivery. From there, I design sessions that combine explanation, case examples, problem-solving, and critical discussion. I challenge weak assumptions, push for clarity of thinking, and prioritise depth over buzzwords. I emphasise systems thinking, materiality, trade-offs, and implementation challenges, because this is where most sustainability strategies fail in practice. Techniques and teaching methodology I use a case-based and applied learning approach, drawing heavily from real consulting engagements, corporate sustainability programmes, and global standards. Concepts are explained clearly, then stress-tested through examples, scenarios, or short exercises. I regularly connect sustainability to finance, operations, supply chains, and governance so learners can see how decisions are actually made. Sessions are interactive rather than lecture-style. I encourage structured thinking, clear articulation of ideas, and evidence-based reasoning. Where relevant, I also support learners with interview preparation, assignment structuring, and professional writing in sustainability and ESG contexts. Qualifications and experience I am a sustainability consultant with over seven years of experience working across corporate sustainability, ESG strategy, environmental management systems, and sustainable finance.
