About Fidel
Playing piano demands precision, so I focus on the underlying logic of music to guide your progress. Having earned an MMus Music Performance from the New England Conservatory, I prioritize deep understanding over rote repetition. You will build core skills including memorization techniques and hand independence to ensure your playing feels natural.
I also emphasize sight reading and ear training to develop your musical intuition. My approach helps you see the structure behind every piece, which makes complex passages manageable.

We explore sight playing and sight transposition while refining your dynamics and expression in every piece. My 7 years of teaching experience inform the weekly practice modules I assign to keep your development consistent. These assignments bridge the gap between our meetings to ensure you maintain momentum. You receive feedback that clarifies your path forward.
