About Sophie
I am an experienced Flute tutor with over 9 years of teaching School, College, and working professional students. I enjoy helping students learn flute in a structured and supportive environment.
My teaching approach focuses on strong basics and steady improvement. I train students in breathing techniques, posture, finger movement, tone clarity, rhythm accuracy, and musical expression. I make sure students understand each lesson clearly.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, rhythm training, scale practice, ear training, and performance preparation. These subjects support complete musical development. I also guide students with exam preparation.
My unique skill is adapting lessons to different learning styles. I offer clear explanations, effective practice routines, and constant encouragement. My goal is to help students enjoy music learning and build confidence.

I follow a student-friendly teaching approach for flute that focuses on communication, creativity, and flexibility. I explain each concept step by step and provide regular feedback to guide improvement. Students are encouraged to communicate openly during lessons.
Creativity plays an important role through musical exercises, creative practice methods, and expressive playing techniques that keep learning enjoyable. Lessons are planned flexibly and adapted according to student progress, learning style, and personal goals.
Flute instruction includes breathing control, posture, embouchure, finger technique, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. In addition to flute lessons, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, rhythm practice, ear training, and performance preparation to help students become confident musicians.
