About Shalini
I retired in February 2021 after teaching Afrikaans to Gr 8 to Grade 12 learners. I have a Bachelor of Paedogogics degree with majors in English, Afrikaans and Education, as well as Nederlands 1 as a credit.
I have marked External Matric Exam papers for many years

My teaching methodology is interactive. I do not believe in "lecturing"to my learners. I prefer involving them throughout the lesson by way of questioning techniques to determine their understanding of whatever I'm teaching. Learners should feel free to ask questions
