About Abby
I have been tutoring since my Freshman year of college (finishing my 4th year). I tutored college students in mathematics classes ranging from Algebra 2 to Calculus. I spent time tutoring 4th graders in mathematics in a volunteer setting. For the last two years I have been tutoring a girl who is home schooled. Together, we have completed her course work for both 7th and 8th grade.

I am a graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. I am certified to teach math from grades 7-12. I believe that students need to conceptually understand the material to make sense of it which is why I encourage students to ask questions and to investigate why the mathematics works the way it does.
