About Ananye
I am a recently graduated university student seeking an opportunity to work with hardworking students who want to achieve their academic goals this year and beyond. As I completed my A-levels not too long ago, I believe I can effectively impart the knowledge I have gained through my schooling and time at university. I achieved an A* grade in A-level Maths and a 1st class degree in Economics from a Russel Group university (Exeter). I am a very patient person and enjoy understanding and solving problems. I prefer a collaborative approach when tutoring pupils. This involves frequent communication with the tutee to easily identify concepts they are struggling with. I believe it is important that a tutor takes a keen interest in the work of their tutee and asks questions as the pupil may feel less confident to ask themselves.
I have worked as a Maths teaching assistant in a year 7 classroom before. I volunteered in this position while undertaking my A-levels. I was responsible for going around the classroom and identifying and helping pupils struggling with the questions provided.
Having completed my degree in Economics, which utilises a great degree of Maths, I feel confident in my capabilities to tutor pupils of all grades including those undertaking their A-Levels.
