About Gabrielle
I believe my professionalism and work ethic is shown in my academic achievements so far. I've gone to medical school, where we professionalism, empathy and kindness were emphasized in every patient interaction. My work experience outside of medical school consists of numerous jobs involving scientific research- both clinical and non-clinical. I also have a variety of leadership experience and volunteer experience. I am currently volunteering for a nonprofit organization based out of Tijuana, Mexico where we provide medical attention to Tijuana residents and refugees currently living in Tijuana.

I recently graduated from UC San Diego's School of Medicine in June of 2022. I am currently applying for my Family Medicine residency this year and am interested in spending the next year tutoring for a variety of subjects and across a wide range of age groups while I complete my applications. I went to UC San Diego for my Bachelor's as well and received a BA in Human Development.
I am confident that I can use the skills I learned in medical school to be an excellent tutor for children, teenagers and adults. I have a wide range of experience with the subjects that I can tutor since I had completed a rigorous course load over my academic career. In high school, I took both AP and IB courses and received an IB diploma upon graduation. I can tutor math, biology, chemistry English and history for all grade levels. I can also tutor for SAT/ACT and help proofread college essays as well. I am a a native Spanish speaker and would love to tutor Spanish sessions if the opportunity arises. I live in San Diego, California and am interested in tutoring in San Diego county but am interested in tutoring online as well.
I am very comfortable with Microsoft teams and Zoom since the last half of my medical school years relied heavily on both due to the pandemic.
