About Amy
Through school I developed a passion for Maths so went on to study it at University alongside Statistics. I have very good knowledge of Maths and am very comfortable with Advanced Higher level, with the ability to adapt my knowledge to the current syllabus at different levels. I am mostly looking to tutor Maths but am open to other subjects. I have volunteering experience as a young leader at a brownie pack and also at a care home.
I recently graduated from University of Glasgow with a 2:1 BSc in Mathematics and Statistics and am now currently employed at FDM group as a trainee IT Consultant (doing Business Intelligence) - I am nearing the end of my training period where i will go on placement with an FDM client for 2 years.

My teaching method is to personalise my methods to the student, covering topics they find difficult and ensuring complete understanding. I tend to go through lots of different examples as well as getting the student to try similar ones to see if they grasp what is being learnt.
