About Mikhail
Hi! I recently graduated from Reed College, where I majored in Biology and minored in Theatre. Academically, I was in the top 5% of my class year for all four years. I also took many honors and AP math and science courses in high school. I began my tutoring career during this last academic year, where I did both group and 1-on-1 tutoring for biology, chemistry, math, and programming. I have found tutoring to be very gratifying, and I hope to continue helping others, and potentially make my way into a teaching career.

I tutor for middle school, high school, and college-level mathematics, biology, and chemistry.
Since it is impossible to truly be a know-it-all tutor, I work to guide students towards the answers using the knowledge they have. By connecting the dots themselves, they will gain a stronger understanding of the subject and more confidence in their abilities.
The more information I have on what you want help with ahead of time, the better I will be able to prepare. Especially in the sciences, the information I was taught in school may not overlap 100% with what you are being taught, so preparation is key.
