About Ed
I am a recent graduate from Oxford University's School of Geography and The Environment, who graduated with a high 2.1 in July 2020. I have specialties in Human, Physical and Political Geography, as well as Geographical history, and my physical Geography dissertation was nominated for the Royal Geographical Society's annual award. I passed the Thinking Skills Analysis aptitude test required of many Oxbridge applicants so I am also offering tutoring for both this as well as Oxbridge interview preparation for prospective applicants.

My teaching method is to ensure classes are intuitive and engaging by following well-prepared lesson plans which can be individually tailored to the tutee's areas of interest. Just let me know specifically which topics are of relevance and I can cater to all students up to, and including, degree level. I enjoy holding a dialogue with students, and I like classes to be enjoyable and challenging. If there is an area which has been taught at school but with which the student is struggling, I can help go over and solidify understanding.
Having sat both GCSEs and A level exams recently (2014 and 2016 respectively) I am familiar with the syllabus of exam boards and the different components of exams. A particular area of difficulty for many students is essay technique, as essays are a main aspect of the A level Geography paper - having written weekly tutorial essays at university, I can really help with this too!
