About Sean
I have just obtained two B.Sc. degrees in Physics and Applied Mathematics. While I may not have any tutoring experience, I look forward to building experience via SuperProf. In many instances when collaborating with classmates on homework assignments or projects I have more or less placed myself in a leadership role, as I truly wanted to help others struggling with material that I understood well. I want to extend these roles that I have found myself in into a more professional setting, and I look forward to learning about, well, learning!

Rigorous foundations are a must. This is a central concept to understand and apply if you are to have any success in physics and mathematics. Most theorems, results, and finally applications can only be understood from previous results, until you have reached what could be called "logical bedrock" which is the fundamental set of assumptions upon which the entire theory resides. Beyond an axiomatic approach, I believe that it not just helps but becomes essential to imagine specific examples when learning about increasingly abstract concepts. Thus, problem-solving becomes a crucial tool for learning, as you gain experience in tackling problems, but you also gain specific examples to grapple onto when venturing into abstract and unknown territory.

Sean is one of the most intelligent people I've ever met! His analytical thought processes can hand the most complex situations and problems. As a teacher, he can effectively teach concepts in different ways to suit a student's needs. Further, he is capable of analyzing a student's level of understanding of the material and working with them on that level. Highly recommend!
