About Abigail
Hi!
My name is Abi and I recently finished my Modern Languages degree in French, Spanish, and Portuguese at the University of Liverpool. During that time I not only studied in Liverpool but spent my third year studying in Paris and then working in Madrid!
Languages are my passion, but I know not everyone feels this way. I hope that through tutoring I can show many more people that language learning is not as daunting as school or boring textbooks can make it seem!

Private lessons tailored to you, your starting level, and your goals. Whether it be for exams, general interest or just ordering drinks on your holiday!
I tailor my lessons to you! Once we work out your current level and figure out what your goal is, we’ll use a variety of sources such as podcasts, TV shows, and more (not just dusty, old textbooks or grammar books) to help you reach that goal.
If you’re a GCSE or A Level student, then you’re in luck! I went through the same exams and know some great ways to revise that aren’t always taught in school and they may help you improve significantly faster than you normally would.
My lessons are usually structured with a few minutes of work set from the previous lesson and then various other tasks that involve all the disciplines of speaking, listening, reading, and writing, but every lesson can be made to suit anything you’ve been struggling with in-between sessions if you let me know beforehand.
As a lifelong language learner and recent graduate, I know languages can be daunting so making mistakes is always welcome and an important part of learning - you never have to be worried about getting things wrong!
