In my perspective, the most effective way of teaching students a concept is giving them individual attention and working with them one-on-one until they feel confident. As a tutor, I would prepare a set of notes for a specific topic and explain these concepts using examples and diagrams wherever appropriate. It is vital to have topic tests after a topic to give an insight into the abilities of each individual student and fill in any gaps in their understanding before we proceed to the next topic.
