About Sean

I bring a clear, structured, and student-centered approach to every lesson I teach. My goal is to make learning feel accessible, organized, and genuinely encouraging. Students work with me because I explain ideas in a way that makes sense, I stay patient and steady no matter the challenge, and I help them build real confidence in their own abilities.

My teaching method blends clarity, active practice, and individualized support. I break complex concepts into manageable steps, model the thinking process, and guide students toward independent mastery. A typical lesson follows a simple, reliable structure: a brief check-in, a focused introduction to the day’s concept, guided practice, an independent attempt, and a short reflection to reinforce progress. This rhythm helps students feel grounded and supported while still being challenged.

What sets me apart is the combination of academic strength and practical experience. My background in psychology and literature allows me to teach both analytical and expressive skills with clarity. I also have hands-on experience working with neurodiverse learners, including students on the autism spectrum, which has shaped my ability to communicate patiently, adaptively, and with genuine respect for each student’s learning style.
