About Nicole

My name is Nicole and I am an Engineering Student working towards a Master of Science in Computer Science. I have a passion for teaching engineering education because I believe that there is so much creativity and innovation behind the subject, but it is easy for it to get overshadowed by doubts. As a result, I have made it a passion of mine to show that core subjects such as Math, Computer Science, and Physics can be interesting to learn when it is taught in a way that interests the individual.

About the lesson

I like to center my lessons based on each student's individual learning style. As a result, teaching method and technique change based on what a student needs to succeed. For example, if a student needs a more structured approach we can break down a problem into repeatable steps. Or, if a student needs a more visual approach we might explore real-world applications. I like teaching in a way that is practical and allows students a chance to explore subjects creatively, while still developing the core skills needed to succeed in classwork. I can provide lessons for all ages and grade levels all the way through to college-level work. I specialize in Math & STEM Tutoring.
