About Maira
Math can be difficult at times, but the best thing about math is that there is always a solution. It may not seem obvious at first and it can be overwhelming not knowing where to even start, but there is always a way to figure it out. That is the beauty about mathematics, no matter how complicated it may seem, there is always a way to simplify things down. I am here to assist you in that process. I have 2 years of tutoring experience and I have done individual and group tutoring. I specialize in Calculus I, II, Differential Calculus, Integrable Calculus, and Vector Analysis.

My teaching method is to teach by asking questions. I need to gauge the level of understanding of my students so that I can better help them work through the problem. I do NOT simply give the student the answer since I believe that will not help them in the long run.
