About Ethan
I achieved H1s in leaving Cert Maths and Physics myself which has allowed me to study the area that I am most passionate about. After teaching grinds for 3 years I have helped students get the grades they seek. I enjoy the process of helping a student to tackle problems that they struggle with to further their understanding of each topic, which will enable them to achieve their goals.

I have 3 years experience teaching Maths and Physics grinds for Leaving Cert students. I got H1s in both these subjects in my Leaving Cert, and I recently achieved a First Class Honours in BSc Physics student in UCC with experience in advanced maths and physics topics. A lesson is typically 1 hour, but I will tailor the lessons to the specific needs of each student. When teaching lessons I normally take one of 2 approaches. If a student has specific areas that they want to work on I will use the lessons to work through specific problems to help the student to better understand the topic conceptually while also preparing them for Leaving Cert style questions. If a student wants to go through the full course, I use the Leaving Cert textbooks to teach the subject with supplementary explanations and questions that I believe suit the needs of the student better.
