About James
Hello! I'm James and I am a recent Biology graduate from The University of Sheffield. I achieved a Second-Class Upper Division Honours in my degree and a B at A level. I am very passionate about biology with a particular focus on insects, plants and ecology. I have previously worked as a work experience volunteer with a river conservation charity. Whilst at university I completed a module called the Undergraduate Ambassadors Scheme in which I provided remote revision materials for students preparing for their A level exams. I found this a very valuable experience and it has inspired me to pursue tutoring in order to help more students and share my passion for biology.
In my spare time I play bass and guitar in a band and I am a keen amateur photographer. I am also an animal lover and I currently have two dogs as well as mice and gerbils.

I offer low-cost online video call lessons for A Level and GCSE students looking for a personalised learning approach to target areas in their Biology studies that may need grater support. I am very passionate about Biology and I remember all too well how challenging it can be at A Level and GCSE. I am keen to pass on the skills and knowledge that helped me through to achieving a 2.1 in BSc Biology. I am passionate about encouraging students to enjoy the subject as much as I do.
