About Yonghao
I graduated from Western University with a dual degree in Philosophy and Business Administration (IVEY) and am currently working towards a Masters degree while applying to law schools (My 2025 application cycle included A from multiple T14 and U of T, I also earned a total of $200,000+ in merit based scholarship)
I became interested in the LSAT in June of 2024 and earned a 174 four month later. Dealing with concepts similar/related to the test throughout my undergrad (logic class, competitive debating, etc), I bring a unique perspective to the LSAT. Trust me, you already have it takes. You would never let most of the argument fly if they are reframed in a way familiar to you, and that's the spirit you need to invoke to conquer the LSAT.

I am a big fan of a common-sense approach to the LSAT. I try to use examples that everyone can understand without any prior knowledge of logic to illustrate the contents. I also possess the logic background to adopt a more abstract, formal logic heavy route if that’s what you prefer.
I am prepared to meet you wherever you are on your LSAT journey, whether you need a detailed plan from taking your diagnostic exam to the minute before you start the real thing; or you are PTing right around your goal but want to fine tune a question type or two.
Having taught 100+ students in my 3-year tutoring journey, I firmly believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I vow to actively work with every student to find the best way for them to learn. Whether that means using examples from a specific realm or leveraging their specific strengths to build confidence in tackling complex concepts.

I studied with Yong for 5 month and ended up with a 168 on the LSAT, having a diagnostic in the 130s I thought law school was definitely out of the question but Yong proved to me I really already had what it takes to master this test. Super glad I found him and 10/10 would recommend him to anyone looking to improve their LSAT scores.
